In 2024, after almost two decades on Wall Street, Allyson joined Robyn to launch the company’s Westchester, New York, arm, bringing the Peltrie Place approach to development, restoration, and design to a new market. With her own home-renovation experience, finance background, and passion for building, expanding the company together felt like a natural next step.
Having grown up around the industry through their father’s work as a developer, construction, and renovation were familiar territory long before Peltrie Place began. Building a company together felt like a natural extension of that experience, combined with the perspectives they developed through their own careers.
Peltrie Place was founded in 2021 as a design-focused boutique real estate development firm with a passion for bringing new life to old homes. Led by sisters Allyson Bronner and Robyn Segal, Peltrie Place has a thoughtfully curated portfolio of residential development projects across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and Westchester County, New York.
Peltrie Place began with the renovation of Robyn’s 100 year old row home in Washington, D.C. Her background in finance, real estate, and hospitality, combined with her own renovation experience, inspired her to launch Peltrie Place. The goal was to restore more homes that are beautifully built, thoughtfully designed, and fully turnkey.
Allyson and Robyn approach each project with the same care and consideration they would bring to their own homes, with an emphasis on how a space looks, feels, and functions for everyday life. Floor plan, materials, lighting, hardware, and millwork are considered not only for how they look, but for how they will function. As two moms to young children, Peltrie Place plans all homes to be not only beautiful, but practical for everyday family living.
Peltrie Place also gives back to the communities where it undertakes projects through Peltrie Cares. Through the program, Peltrie Place partners with local charitable organizations to renovate and create welcoming, functional spaces for the people they serve.
